Awesome place!! Good variety of animals. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed the wildlife walk. We will definitely visit again!

The petting zoo has lots of animals but our favorite was the enclosed parakeet encounter, for which I highly recommend buying the $3.00 feeding stick. This is great for small, medium, and big kids (aka adults), and I'd highly recommend it. Even the drive through the Georgia mountains to get there, is spectacular and rewarding.

This has definitely been a delightful surprise. The zoo isn't very big, but it has enough animals, to keep your interest peaked. You visit the zoo with a guide (usually every hour a new group goes), and in a small group.

My only complaint is that all pictures have the cage and it would be great if somebody could finally come up with a solution to get better shots of the wildlife, and we really couldn't see the otters, the enclosure is not viewer friendly.

They had a mostly friendly staff, but a plethora of animals. Great variety of animals from all around the world. Animals seemed well taken care of. It is a little pricey but I'd say well worth it.

We specifically visited for the Otter experience and it was excellent. There was a lot of interaction with the otters (Rainbow and Noah). Very informative and a lot of fun! The nature walk included with the experience was also very informative and a pleasant surprise.

Every guide will tell you about all the animals and answer all your questions, which, I'm sure, contributes to the animals appearing stress-free, compared to other zoos. The guide brings food, and most of the animals come up to the fence. So, no lingering around; the walk is about an hour and includes hands-on interaction with a few animals at the end.

Lots of animals at the petting zoo, nice layout. Near nature walk with lots of interesting animals and a guide. Kids liked the hayride to feed the camels. Would go back
