I called the store to see what happened, seeing as their website says they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and I clearly was not satisfied. I was very professional on the phone. I wanted them to know there was an issue, and see if we could remedy the situation. The lady at Daretta's did nothing to rectify the situation. A 100% satisfaction means you make your customers happy by guaranteeing the product you offer. I realize the substitution policy says they may substitute different flowers if the one's in the arrangement are out of stock. However, the fine print mentions nothing about changing vases, and does not state they will add in a random plant (fern) that droops and adds no value to the arrangement.
Summary: I recommend going with one of the other flower shops in town. As a last resort (because I prefer to support locally), go to one of the online flower retailers. This place was not up to par.
For the record, I would have left a positive review if the experience was indeed positive or even if they had tried to remedy the situation.
I ordered flowers for my granddaughter for her birthday. I ordered them the day before and paid extra for an early delivery. The flowers did not make it by noon. I received an email stating that the flowers would be delivered the next day. My granddaughter was so disappointed.

They were priced around $63. The end product was essentially a cheap arrangement from the grocery store at best. The product description said the flowers would come in a red vase. They delivered the flowers in a clear one. Also, the arrangement looked very unprofessional, and had fern clippings drooping at the bottom. It looked tacky.
