I Don't know why this guy is leaving such horrible review!

I don't agree with the original posters tactic (negative reviews on the internet) but perhaps this was their ONLY way to let Cornerstone know why they left and how badly they were hurt. If they were not part of the body of christ they have NO responsibility to make this situation better because they have NO understanding of the biblical principles of forgivness. Pastor Morgan DOES. This church seems to have some unhappy people as indicated by the SEVERAL reviews, most of which seemed to have disappeared. I have been to this church as a visitor and guest speaker. each time I go there are FEWER and fewer people. This is not a sign of a healthy church. This pastor seems to have some people willng to stick up (there were more reviews posted here in favor of this church but are deleted now) for him and that is good. I hope in this time of trouble he is leaning on this support group and finding love in his heart for these "disgrunteld and psychotic" (these were terms used to describe former members by a review that has since been deleted by Google for slander) former members or visitors. Former members do not need to be slandered. They NEED love, a christian example of forgivness and HUMBLENESS/HUMILITY. The original post seem to be gone but I must say that the responses to the original post are NOT any better than the one they are refering to. Insulting others about their spelling or educational level (again, the post has been removed) is not the way I would want someone to defend me (shame on them if they are ministers or pastors wives). I now however have to question not just the Support Group of this church, but this Pastor as well. There seems to be a mean, bitter, proud and unforgiving thread in this particular ministry and that is an atrocity that will effect EVERY apostolic organization. I'm not sure I'd want friends like yours Pastor Morgan. As a liscenced UPC minister I am saddened by what I have seen happen at Cornerstone over the last 7 years. To the defenders of the current pastor I would say that you never know how the shepherd treats the sheep in your absence. Don't base your opinion of a pastor on what you see while a visitor or during a special service or a few social visits. Perhaps these "disgruntedly departed" have a legitimate reason for their complaints. Perhaps the people who left are very good at putting on "good face" to try to keep the pastors reputation with visitors positive? A suggestion was made that these people have other avenues to settled disagreements, but I beg to differ. When a church goes independent it is very difficult to take matters through the appropriate channels mostly because NO new channels are established or just briefly reviewed. That is, after all, one of the MAIN reasons for leaving right? To avoid accountability? Maybe this is what happened here. Perhaps someone went a little haywire with new found freedom and took illegal liberties? I personally sense a thread of rebellion (entitlement to do as they please because of their position) in this Pastor and his family. As I said, both groups are not doing the RIGHT thing. But mostly, the "friends or defenders" of this pastor are NOT doing him a service. If anything they are HURTING the pastors cause. You, Pastor Morgan, are now guilty of your supporters mean spiritedness, slander and backbiting simply by association, unfortunately. Did Jesus defend himself? Did he have throngs of people write letters justifying him? Just remember that those who left and are "slandering" you are themselves HURTING souls. Your responsibility is to THEM, to try to mend and heal the wounds and scars. It is UP TO YOU to make the first step toward reconciliation SIMPLY because YOU are a Pastor. Try to remember what your responsibility is when you have (even unknowingly) hurt/offended someone (MAT 5:23). And as a pastor or his wife or his friends who are probably apostolic, please remember that when we love the Lord it should be VERY hard to offend us. Love in the Name of Jesus Christ
